When the historic Commercial Hotel was redeveloped, the old downstairs public bar was repurposed into the town’s post office, and the rest of the building became Bill & Beats.
This is an all-day, everyday café serving breakfast to afternoon tea time, offering a menu reflecting chef Chris Buzza’s global travel experiences.
Breakfast could be creamy porridge with a touch of cinnamon and topped with pureed seasonal fruit, or spicy beans with meaty chorizo and crisp sautéed potatoes. Lunch might include a rich pork hock risotto with peas, zucchini finished with silky goat curd, or a pork belly and cabbage taco with fresh herbs and the zing of chilli sauce.
