Every day, all day, the aroma of roasting coffee beans wafts down Maude Street with a heady mix of earthy, chocolate, berries and floral notes.
Roaster Andrew Shadbolt was a chef working in top Melbourne restaurants and returned to Shepp to continue perfecting single-origin coffee. GB Coffee café sits in the same room as the roastery offering light meals and pastries. The milk coffee here is made with dark roast beans and is excellent, but try the cold brew single-origin coffees if you want to taste Andrew's delicate roasting skills.
